Three-time Olympian, Hannah Miley is partnering with International School Aberdeen (ISA) to deliver an October Swim Camp for young competitive swimmers.
The camp launches alongside ISA Swimming, Scotland’s first integrated school-based competitive swim club programme.
Designed for dedicated swimmers from any club across the region, the week-long October half-term camp offers young athletes expert instruction, technical refinement, and performance coaching to help them reach their personal goals.
Nick Little, Head of School at ISA, expressed his enthusiasm for the new initiative and the partnership: “These new swim developments represent an incredibly exciting chapter for ISA and the wider North-east swimming community. Launching Scotland’s first school-integrated competitive swim club allows us to offer young athletes an unprecedented level of support. Our upcoming October camp is a fantastic opportunity for local swimmers from any club to train directly with an Olympic athlete of Hannah Miley’s caliber, alongside an exceptional supporting team. We are thrilled to welcome Hannah to ISA and to provide a platform that will inspire the next generation of competitive talent.”
Hannah Miley, one of Britain's most decorated individual medley swimmers, will lead coaching during the October camp, bringing her vast international experience to young participants.
Commenting on the collaboration, Hannah Miley said: “Swimming has given me so many incredible opportunities, and I’m really passionate about passing on some of the experience and knowledge I’ve gained along the way. Having competed at three Olympic Games, I know how much the smaller details can make a difference from technique and mindset to recovery and confidence.”
“I’m really excited to bring this October Swim Camp to ISA and work directly with young swimmers, helping them learn new skills, challenge themselves and take practical tools back into their everyday training.”
The ISA October Swim Camp will run during the October half-term break, utilizing ISA’s world-class campus facilities. Swimmers should be aged 10 - 17 and competing at district or national level in order to take part.
