Over the past 12 months, James Fisher Asset Information Services (AIS) has made a series of strategic hires to support business growth and accelerate the evolution of its R2S visual asset management platform.
These six appointments span leadership, commercial strategy, sales, business development and product innovation, reinforcing AIS’s long‑term commitment to customer value and technology excellence.
At leadership level, Euan Macalister was appointed Head of Sales. With over 20 years’ experience driving growth across energy technology businesses, from startups through to scale‑ups and exits, Euan leads global sales strategy and customer engagement, helping AIS expand its footprint across existing and emerging markets.
Also joining the Leadership Team, Stephen Kenny, Commercial Pricing Manager, brings a strong background in commercial leadership, pricing strategy and business optimisation. His role focuses on developing scalable, customer‑aligned pricing models that support sustainable growth while reinforcing the value delivered through the R2S platform.
Further strengthening the leadership team, Miriam Blair, Product Marketing Manager, joined AIS with deep experience in marketing, sales enablement and digital transformation in the energy sector. Sitting on the AIS Leadership Team, Miriam plays a key role in shaping strategic messaging and go‑to‑market execution for R2S, ensuring customer needs and outcomes remain central to product marketing.
On the commercial growth side, Ryan Goggin joined as Senior Business Development Manager, bringing extensive experience in commercial positioning and complex solution sales. His focus is on developing strategic customer relationships and unlocking new opportunities where R2S can deliver operational clarity, efficiency and risk reduction.
To support continued innovation within the R2S product itself, AIS has invested heavily in technical capability. Sean Murray, UX Designer, strengthens AIS’s focus on user‑centred design. With experience designing digital twin and energy‑sector software, Sean works closely with product and engineering teams to ensure R2S is intuitive, efficient and aligned with real‑world user workflows.
Completing the recent hires, Josh McAteer, Computer Vision Engineer, brings advanced expertise in machine learning, deep learning and imaging science. His work supports the development of intelligent visualisation and automation capabilities within R2S, pushing the platform’s technical boundaries.
Together, these appointments reflect AIS’s continued investment in people, leadership and innovation, ensuring the business is well positioned to scale globally while continuing to enhance the R2S platform for customers across the energy lifecycle.
