Jbs and AM Campbell have been recognised by Peterhead Academy for their work as part of its learning partnership programme, which places pupils into working environments.
HSE Engineer Paul McCafferty collected the award on behalf of Jbs at the school's Senior Prizegiving. Other local companies also received awards.
Gillian McCafferty, of Jbs, and Morna Fraser, of AM Campbell, help co-ordinate and deliver the Learning Partner programme alongside their colleagues for S3 pupils.
The programme runs two separate strands: a mechanical fitting course at Jbs in which pupils design, fabricate and assemble screw conveyors, and an electrical programme delivered by AM Campbell, sister company of Jbs.
Pupils gained hands-on experience of working in an engineering environment, with Jbs and AM Campbell staff supporting them throughout.

The programme reflects a broader commitment from both companies to develop the next generation.
Jbs is a Peterhead-headquartered engineering company working across four areas: fabrication and structural engineering; blast containment systems for high-risk environments including energy, aerospace and defence; screw conveyor design and manufacture; and subsea excavation using its patented Sea Axe technology.
The award-winning company has delivered projects in over 80 countries, with current operations spanning the UK, Europe, the USA, Turkey and South Korea.
AM Campbell, which provides domestic, commercial and offshore electrical services, is also based at Dales Industrial Estate site in Peterhead.
