The team at Cash for Kids North East Scotland is delighted to announce that the Volvo John Clark Motor Group Car Dealership have donated Easter eggs to local community organisations working closely with Cash for Kids.
The team collected Easter eggs to help ensure children across the North-east receive a special treat in time for the Easter weekend. The initiative aims to bring a little extra joy to families who may otherwise struggle to provide seasonal treats.
Community organisations supported by Cash for Kids often play a vital role in supporting local families throughout the year. From distributing presents at Christmas to providing funding and ongoing support for a variety of community days and trips for underprivileged children, these centres are a key lifeline for many. When the idea of providing Easter eggs for the children who attend these groups was suggested, it was an easy decision to support the initiative.
For many families, particularly during the ongoing cost-of-living challenges, small luxuries such as Easter eggs are not always easily accessible. Something that may seem simple can make a meaningful difference and bring genuine happiness to a child.
Volvo at John Clark immediately recognised the importance of this and were eager to help in any way they could.
Thanks to the generosity of John Clark children will receive Easter eggs this year. The team at Cash for Kids North-east Scotland are thrilled to be working with all involved to make a positive difference and deliver a little extra joy to local families this Easter.
Megan Deans, Fundraising Executive, shared her excitement about the initiative, stating: “We are very fortunate that local businesses want to get involved in fundraising for Cash for Kids and the communities we support. When companies such as Volvo come forward with an idea, we are here to support them in every way!
