Leading independent UK accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael has appointed Katie Lange as a Director in its Aberdeen-based payroll team, as part of a wave of four senior hires across the UK.
The move reflects Johnston Carmichael's continued investment in its people and its commitment to the North-east, supporting the region's business community with specialist payroll expertise.
Katie brings nearly 20 years of payroll experience across the energy sector and a range of other industries, with global payroll expertise spanning more than 150 countries. Based in Aberdeen, she brings extensive in-house and client-side experience, most recently managing payroll and compliance for a global telecommunications company.
Deborah Ramsay Tamsyn Weston and Katie Lange have been appointed in a wave of senior hires by Johnston Carmichael across its business.
Katie's appointment forms part of a wider round of senior hires at Johnston Carmichael, including Tamsyn Weston, the firm's first Chief Technology Officer, Deborah Ramsay, a new Audit Partner in Glasgow, and Leani Passano, who joins the audit quality, risk & technical team. Together, these appointments bring significant experience and reflect Johnston Carmichael's continued investment in its people, alongside its ambition to grow its technology, audit and business advisory services as the firm expands its client base.
