Consultancy leader in flow measurement and provider of digital solutions and software products, Kelton (part of Nexos Group) has announced a leadership appointment, with Stuart Christie stepping into the role of Managing Director.
Transitioning from his previous role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Stuart has worked his way up through Kelton, initially joining as an on-site Measurement Consultant in Qatar in 2008. After moving in-house to a Middle East-based LNG producer for over a decade, Stuart returned to Kelton in 2021 as Operations Director before taking on the role of COO in 2025.
Stuart succeeds Iain Pirie as Managing Director, with Iain taking on the role of Executive Director. Having joined Kelton nearly 20 years ago, Iain will continue to work alongside Stuart and the wider Kelton leadership team, drawing on his extensive expertise and industry insight to support a smooth leadership transition and ensure the business continues to deliver excellence across the sector.
Now, as Managing Director, Stuart will be responsible for overseeing Kelton’s global operations, including a 35-year presence in the North Sea, expansion in the Middle East, and new regional focuses across mainland Europe and the Americas, to lead the company into its next phase.

As Managing Director, he will also join the leadership team of parent company, Nexos Group. Acquired by Nexos Group in 2024, Kelton is part of a portfolio of companies that offer speciality engineering, procurement, construction, and consulting services across energy, infrastructure, and power sectors.

Stuart added: "This is an incredible honour to be taking on the role of Managing Director. My first experiences at Kelton go back 18 years; little did I think then that I'd be taking on the MD role. In Kelton's 35-year history, there has been no shortage of great leaders, including Iain's position as Managing Director over the last decade. It's great to have Iain remain on board to work alongside the leadership team.
