Kent, a global integrated energy services partner, has appointed Ian MacLeod as Head of Flexible Pipes, further strengthening its technical leadership and specialist subsea integrity capabilities.
Ian is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CEng, FIMechE) with more than 25 years of experience in subsea integrity and flexible pipe systems. Throughout his career, he has supported major offshore operators, regulators, suppliers and inspection bodies, providing technical guidance across integrity management, failure investigation, life extension, risk assessment and the management of safety-critical subsea assets.
Recognised as a leading subject matter expert in flexible pipe technology, Ian has contributed to industry guidance, including the latest API standard for flexible pipe systems. He has also played a central role in a highly regarded Joint Industry Project on flexible pipe integrity for the past fifteen years, helping to advance industry good practice. At Kent, he will strengthen the company's flexible pipeline and riser capability while providing technical leadership and assurance across specialist subsea projects.
