Donald Trump has formally accepted the King's invitation for an unprecedented second state visit.
Hosted at Windsor Castle, the US president will be accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump for the trip between September 17 and 19.
The venue choice, the BBC reports, comes as Buckingham Palace undergoes renovation work.
The late Queen Elizabeth II welcomed Trump to the UK for his first state visit during his first presidential term in 2019.
Traditionally, presidents serving a second term are not offered another state visit, and instead are invited to a less formal tea or lunch with the monarch.
French President Emmanuel Macron was hosted at Windsor last week for his state visit.
