Leading global property firm Knight Frank has boosted its team in Aberdeen with the announcement of two new appointments.

Gordon Fettes joins the Professional Department as a senior surveyor dealing with rating revaluation appeals and rent reviews and Kieran Degabriele joins the firm as a graduate building surveyor.

Knight Frank Aberdeen partner Eric Shearer welcomed the new additions to the team: “This year is expected to be much stronger for Aberdeen’s property sector and we hope to see continued growth and expansion of our team as a result of increased activity in the market.

“Gordon’s extensive knowledge, experience and business connections built up over the past 30 years of working in the North-east will no doubt bring a new dynamic to the team and we look forward to supporting Kieran throughout the first stage of his professional career.”

Commenting on his new role, Gordon said: “I am delighted to have joined the Aberdeen office of Knight Frank, and to be working for a large and extremely well known commercial property organisation with a successful track record across the country.”

After gaining a BSc in Land Economics from Paisley College, Gordon began his career in commercial property in 1982 and has held previous positions with both AR Scott & Partners and Atholls Ltd.

Gordon was previously the asset disposal surveyor at Aberdeenshire Council, dealing with the disposal of various surplus properties throughout the council’s operational area.

Graduate Kieran, who has just completed a degree in Building Surveying at RGU said: “I’m excited to start my career with Knight Frank, a company with such a strong reputation and a great team here in Aberdeen. I’m hoping to bring some fresh enthusiasm to the role.”
