Kore Solutions recently celebrated the retirement of Jackie Dunbar, a much-loved and long-serving member of the team who has played an integral part in the company’s journey since day one.
At a small send-off gathering, managing director Duncan Booth presented Jackie with gifts on behalf of the team, recognising her remarkable contribution, loyalty, and friendship over the years.
“Jackie and I have worked alongside one another in some capacity since 1996,” said Duncan during the presentation. “When the opportunity came to start Kore, Jackie – along with some others – played a vital role in its success. Not only could I trust Jackie, but I had the utmost confidence in her capabilities and expertise to help shape Kore into the business it is today.”

Jackie’s warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to both her colleagues and customers earned her admiration across the business. “Her contributions – both big and small – have left a mark on us all,” Duncan added. “Jackie has truly been a cornerstone of Kore’s success.”
While the team will miss her presence (and her famously well-timed coffee rounds), there’s no doubt her next chapter will be just as rewarding. “I’m delighted she’s getting a well-deserved break – although I suspect her two granddaughters have serious plans of their own!”
