KR Group is proud to reflect on its 18-month partnership with Men in Mind which has now come to a close.

Throughout this time, the business has supported the charity’s vital work in improving men’s mental health, reinforcing its own ongoing commitment to wellbeing within the construction industry.

Men in Mind delivers peer-to-peer mental health support groups across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, providing a safe and non-judgemental space for men to open up about their struggles and get support.

Over the past 18 months, the organisation has continued to grow, expanding its reach across the Northeast and supporting more men in need.

As part of the partnership, KR Group provided ongoing marketing and communications support, helping to strengthen Men in Mind’s visibility and engagement within the local community.

This included creating and managing social media content, developing campaigns, and offering advice to help amplify the charity’s message and tackle the stigma around mental health.

This support also extended to Women in Mind, further broadening the impact of the partnership. By improving the charity’s online presence and consistency of messaging, KR Group helped ensure more people were aware of the support available and how to access it.

Alongside this, KR Group employees took part in a range of fundraising activities, including company-wide challenges and events, raising over £5,600 to support the continuation of these essential services.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to the KR Group team, and especially Amy, for all the support over the last 18 months,” said Andy Joss, Co-Founder of Men in Mind.

“Amy has helped us tremendously with our social media posts, and the support from the whole team has been fantastic. We are incredibly grateful for all the fundraising efforts and continued support you have given us.

"Thank you, KR Group and Amy. We truly appreciate everything you have done for us.”

This partnership has had a lasting impact on KR Group and has reinforced the importance of prioritising mental health across their organisation and the construction industry as a whole.
