KR SkillsHub, the specialist training division of Aberdeenshire-based steel, metalwork, and cladding experts KR Group, is proud to announce the appointment of Darrin Limond as training and competency lead.
Based at KR Group’s headquarters in Aberdeenshire, Darrin will lead the development and delivery of KR SkillsHub’s training programmes, with a focus on enhancing workforce capability, raising industry standards, and supporting long-term growth across the business and wider sector.

Darrin brings over 25 years of combined experience in construction, engineering, and vocational training to the team. His career began in steel fabrication and installation before progressing into specialist lifting operations and consultancy within the energy sector. He later founded and operated his own successful training business, further deepening his expertise.
This expertise will play a key role in advancing KR SkillsHub’s mission to provide high-impact training solutions tailored to the needs of modern construction and engineering environments.
