Aberdeenshire-based steel, cladding and sheet metal specialist, KR Group Scotland has welcomed Neil Gallon to the business as a CAD Detailer, further strengthening its in-house technical expertise.
Based at the company’s Newburgh office, Neil joins the operations team at a busy and exciting time for the business. He will play a hands-on role in producing accurate fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel projects, as well as supporting project planning and coordination.
Day-to-day, Neil will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, preparing drawing packs and material schedules, and working closely with engineers, architects and project managers to make sure designs are both compliant and practical to deliver on site.
With 14 years’ experience in a drawing office environment, Neil brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong understanding of what it takes to keep projects moving efficiently from design through to installation.
He will also support project programming, supplier coordination and ongoing improvements within the drawing office—helping KR Group continue to build on its reputation for quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
