Lady Helen Wood has launched a new fund to drive millions of pounds into charities in Aberdeen.
The Lady Helen Wood Fund is the latest initiative from the Wood family and comes as a major boost for the city they love.
In an exclusive interview with The Press and Journal, Lady Helen discussed her passion for the city she calls home and how she hopes the new fund will be her "legacy".
The scheme will plough £2million into the region - every year.
Targeted at supporting young people and those over 65, the initiative will offer flexible funding to registered charities across both Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Funding will be available without restrictions and the £2million pot will be topped up every year.
