Law firm Aberdein Considine says Aberdeen property sales have jumped 30% following a "notable uplift" in the local market.

The legal experts have published data sourced via Reapit which shows new property instructions in Aberdeen are up 22% when compared to June and July last year.

Meanwhile, applicant registrations have risen by 20%, property viewings are up 16%, and completed sales have surged 30%.

Graham Crocket, national estate agency director at Aberdein Considine, said: “There is definitely a positive sentiment returning to the north-east market.”
