Leading, independent care provider Mitchell & Murdoch Care Ltd has reported a significant uplift in its Aberdeen business, leading to plans to recruit up to eight full-time staff.
The company, which is part of The Mitchell & Murdoch Group, had already reported that its team had trebled in size from 40 to 120 people during 2025. Now, further a 50% increase in demand for its care at home services in and around Aberdeen has prompted the need to further expand the team with additional full-time care staff.
Simultaneously, a forecast upturn in demand in Fife is expected to give rise to a 40% increase in the currently eight-strong team working in the region.
The news follows the launch of the company’s dedicated Scotland-wide agency division providing care home staff including qualified nurses, trained carers, domiciliary staff and managers. They are supported from bases in Aberdeen, Dundee, Falkirk, Glenrothes and Perth.
