RigRun, the global digital health solution designed specifically for the needs of remote and isolated workforces, will return in February 2026, with Seadrill and EnQuest joining a growing list of participating service companies.
Both organisations will bring extensive onshore and offshore representation, reinforcing the event’s continued popularity across various parts of the energy sector.
Seadrill’s involvement spans multiple remote worksites and offices worldwide, with teams consistently embracing RigRun’s mission to support connection, community and resilience across isolated environments. Dr Marelize Sirgel, Seadrill’s Company Medical Director, highlighted the programme’s role in enhancing wellbeing and performance:
“RigRun provides a structured physical challenge that enhances the wellbeing and resilience of offshore and onshore employees. By promoting physical and mental fitness, as well as encouraging team camaraderie, RigRun helps us foster a healthier and more unified workforce, better equipped to work safely and efficiently.”
EnQuest has assembled an equally broad crew from platforms, terminals and offices, combining collaboration with friendly inter-site competition. Sheona King, EnQuest’s Fitness and Wellbeing Instructor, noted the positive effect on engagement across the organisation:
“We are delighted to be taking part in RigRun 2026. Not only does the challenge help motivate our onshore and offshore workforce to get more active, but it helps strengthen the sense of camaraderie. With multiple sites taking part, we’re also looking forward to some healthy rivalry between participants and assets!”
With Seadrill, EnQuest and several additional service partners confirmed, RigRun 2026 continues to demonstrate an industry-wide commitment to sustaining and improving the physical, mental and social wellbeing of the workforce.
The RigRun Championship event will begin on February 4th 2026, marking the start of a coordinated effort to empower crews to work safely, productively, and as a cohesive unit.
