Leiths Civil Engineering and Surfacing Division have recently completed carriageway resurfacing at the Bridge of Dee roundabout and works on both Northbound and Southbound on the A92 ahead of schedule.

The priority was to create a partial reopening of the roundabout as soon as possible, ensuring a quicker access turnaround for locals.

About 250 tonnes of Hot Rolled Asphalt was removed, resurfaced, and lined in three days.

Work then started on the A92, where over 20000m2 of existing material was removed and resurfaced. Markon, a part of the Leiths Group, then stepped in to reline over 10km of road and applied textureflex at the approach to the Bridge of Dee roundabout- a crucial antiskid application which ensures the safety of those using the roundabout.

Despite challenging weather conditions, Leiths were able to complete the works several days ahead of schedule and to the Leiths standard of quality.
