Social care charity Quarriers have put together a great evening’s programme to launch their End of Summer concert with the legendary Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers headlining.

Friday September 4 sees the band perform at Bishopton’s Mar Hall in aid of Quarriers’ Coaching for Life programme. Coaching for Life supports vulnerable young people dealing with homelessness, addiction and a neglected education, to work towards a positive future.

Quarriers Fiona Scott said: “We are delighted to have Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers performing. Guests will be rocking along to their greatest hits like ‘Bye Bye Baby’, “Shang a Lang” and “Summer Love Sensation” at this really special event.”

Stream Marine Training, the national maritime, oil and gas training providers, are sponsoring the event. CEO, Martin White, said “We are proud to be working alongside Quarriers and supporting such a fantastic cause, which is close to many people’s hearts.”

Tickets are £60pp - including a welcome drink, barbeque platter meal and entertainment - and are on sale now. Call 01505 616054, email events@quarriers.org.uk or visit www.quarriers.org.uk/events to order.
