Recent editions of the Chamber’s Quarterly Economic Survey have shown that labour costs are a major, and increasing, issue for many businesses in the North-east of Scotland.
Labour costs have also been raised as key talking point at several recent Chamber events.
Given these concerns, the Chamber’s policy team is now engaging with the UK Government and Low Pay Commission to highlight the effects such costs are having on businesses, as well as the wider economy.
To support these discussions, we are gathering evidence from members on how the National Minimum Wage is working in practice and affecting business decisions.
The survey will take less than two minutes to complete and will close at 12 noon on Thursday May 7.
