Aberdeenshire-based Lilibet Coaching has unveiled a new brand identity and become Lilibet People & Leadership, reflecting the growth of the business and the wider range of support it now provides.
Founded by people and leadership consultant Gemma Burns, the business now brings together three connected services: Consultancy, Leadership Development and Coaching.
Gemma said: “I have never been someone who is content to just tick a box or skim the surface. I want to understand what is really happening, ask the questions others may avoid and help people find a practical way forward.
“Over the past two years, the business has grown in much the same way, and its name needed to catch up.”
When Gemma started Lilibet Coaching two years ago, coaching was central to the business and remains an important part of how she works. However, clients increasingly approach Lilibet for support when their business is growing and their people practices need to catch up; when managers need more confidence and consistency; or when something within the culture or leadership team is not working as well as it should.
The new name reflects the consultancy, leadership development and coaching services Lilibet already provides, rather than representing a change in direction.
The three interlocking squares within the new visual identity represent these areas of expertise and Lilibet’s ability to support different organisational needs. These can range from focused advice on an immediate people challenge to manager development or a broader approach to improving leadership, culture and performance.
The rebrand also comes as significant changes to employment legislation take effect throughout 2026 and 2027, increasing the need for organisations to review their policies, processes and everyday management practices.
Gemma added: “Most people problems within a business are not caused by a missing policy. They happen when managers are unsure what to do, difficult conversations are avoided and expectations are applied inconsistently.
“Having the right wording in a handbook will not be enough. Leaders must understand their responsibilities, managers need the confidence to address issues early, and organisations need clear processes and records that demonstrate fair and reasonable decisions.
“I help organisations identify gaps, strengthen their people practices and build the confidence and capability of their managers. I bring real, practical solutions, not just words on paper.”
The thinking behind the new brand is captured in its tagline, Lead with Clarity. Grow with Purpose.
Gemma said: “Good leadership starts with clarity about what is expected, what matters and how people contribute. Growth then needs to be purposeful. It is about developing the leadership capability, culture and people practices needed to support that growth properly.
“I am proud of what Lilibet Coaching has achieved, but Lilibet People & Leadership feels much more like the business as it is today. The name is new, but the values, relationships and personal approach remain exactly the same.”
