Employees from Fly Cup Enterprises have completed a one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course delivered by Go To First Aid Training, enhancing the charity’s ability to manage on-site incidents safely and effectively.
Fly Cup Enterprises is a Scottish charity and social enterprise supporting people with learning disabilities from Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, providing catering and hospitality training and the opportunity to gain qualifications, skills and experience.
Held locally in Inverurie, the session equipped staff with practical, hands-on training covering essential skills such as CPR, safe use of an AED, managing choking, treating wounds, and handling incidents until professional help arrives. The session forms part of Fly Cup Enterprises’ commitment to maintaining robust health and safety standards across its operations.
Participants reported increased confidence in responding to real-life scenarios, noting the value of practical demonstrations and clear, scenario-based instruction.
Go To First Aid Training highlighted the strong engagement from attendees and welcomed the opportunity to support a well-established local charity.
The course ensures Fly Cup Enterprises staff are fully compliant with recognised workplace first aid requirements, contributing to safer environments for employees, volunteers, and service users whilst reinforcing resilience across the wider community.
