The Parent and Baby Show has announced the addition of a free soft play area at the event, thanks to partnership with local amusement park Codonas.

Over the weekend, ticket holders will have the opportunity to visit a mini Smugglers Cove free of charge.

Event founder Adele Slater commented: “Our partnership with Codonas and Smugglers Cove is the perfect addition to our event. The aim of the event has always been to create an inclusive space where parents can come along to shop, network and learn.

One of the biggest barriers when attending these events is often childcare, so to have a space that is not only child-friendly, but a place that they will enjoy is a plus for us. We are delighted that our new partnership has resulted in a soft play area that is free for the family to attend.”

In addition to the free soft play area, the show will also run a number of ‘hosted’ sessions, that will be managed by local parent and baby groups, and event organisers such as Moo Music and The Honest Mummy.

Gillian Gallan, Codona’s General Manager commented: “It’s great to see events, like The Parent and Baby Show, coming to Aberdeen. When we saw the show had launched, we knew that we wanted to be part of it.

"Parents travel from across the North-east to visit Smugglers Cove as it’s an engaging and safe environment for their little ones to play while they catch up with friends. We wanted to replicate this at the show, which is why we have worked with The Parent and Baby Show to build a mini Smugglers Cove within P&J Live."

The Parent and Baby Show has seen a great response due to its fundamentals of being an affordable way for the region to get first-hand access to information, products and in-person demos all under one roof. It serves as a nurturing space for parents or parents-to-be; to shop, network and grow, with it being the number one destination for all things parent and baby.

The Parent and Baby Show is being held at P&J Live on September 14 and 15 and is free for under 14s to attend when accompanied by an adult.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased here.
