A dynamic coalition of premier North-east tourism, hospitality and craft businesses has launched the "Mountain to Sea" Getaway Giveaway, offering members of the public the chance to win a comprehensive regional adventure package by visiting Stand A28 at The Getaway Show at P&J Live over this weekend's three-day event.
The campaign highlights the journey from the peaks of the Cairngorms to the Aberdeenshire coastline, bringing together independent regional producers, outdoor experience providers and luxury accommodation providers.
To enter the competition, visitors must attend The Getaway Show at P&J Live and visit Stand A28 across the three days of the event to submit their entry.
A spokesperson for the collaborative initiative said: "The “Mountain to Sea"campaign demonstrates what North East businesses can achieve when working together to champion the region. By connecting high-country wilderness with coastal hospitality, the partnership creates a complete Aberdeenshire experience while supporting independent businesses across the area"
At the centre of the prize package, Cairngorm Bothies and Dalriada Lodges have partnered to donate a four-night accommodation stay, split between two nights in the pine forests at Cairngorm Bothies and two nights of coastal lodging at Dalriada Lodges overlooking Stonehaven Bay.
The package includes outdoor and cultural experiences across the region, featuring an interactive tour for two at Farm Stop, bespoke fishing lesson from Twin Peak Fishing, a nature experience guided by Annie at Wild Braemar, a gin experience for two with a miniature gift set from Lost Loch Spirits, and an Essence Tour for two at Royal Lochnagar Distillery. Local transport to the distillery experiences is provided by Bothies & Bannocks, while Deeside Gliding Club has contributed a 3,000ft trial flight voucher.
The winner willalso receive a local fine art print from The Butterworth Gallery, framed by Donside Frames. Regional dining and local food experiences are provided through a £100 voucher for The Boat Inn in Aboyne, a £75 voucher for the Harbour Bar in Gourdon and a hamper of local food items from Kincardine Kitchen.
