Lord Provost of Aberdeen opens ‘BACShop@Hillylands’

The Lord Provost of Aberdeen Barney Crockett officially opened BACShop@Hillylands on Tuesday, April 16. The shop is operated by Bon Accord Care who specialise in the provision of adult social care within Aberdeen.

It is open and available to anyone who wants to purchase equipment that will support them to maintain their own independence. Onsite occupational therapy staff available and happy to assist with any queries and advise on best solutions.

The Lord Provost said: “Through early intervention and self-management, we want to encourage citizens to be able to support their independence. With a range of special equipment on sale and advice available from occupational therapists at the BACShop at HillyLands Independent Living Centre is definitely worth a visit.”

Managing director of Bon Accord Care, Alistair MacLean said: “This is a great place for anyone to go if they feel they might need a little help around the home or to get out and about. I am delighted that the shop is now open with on-site staff ready to advise you how to make life easier. We look forward to welcoming you to Hillylands.”
