TV icon Lorraine Kelly is set to lead a line-up of stars taking over STV and STV Radio on Friday October 30 to celebrate a jam-packed year of fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal.

Marking the Appeal’s 15th year, the much-loved presenter will be live from STV’s Glasgow headquarters for the hour-long STV Children’s Appeal Show from 7pm, showcasing the inspiring work being carried out across Scotland to tackle child poverty.

Lorraine said: "I can’t believe we’re celebrating 15 years of the STV Children’s Appeal. I’m honoured to have been involved from the very beginning and it’s so dear to my heart, so I can’t wait for another night of celebration live from STV HQ.

“I’ve already got my hankies at the ready because I know I’m going to meet some special families, as well as the individuals working tirelessly to make things a little bit easier for them. As always, we’d love the generous people of Scotland to tune in and donate so we can reach as many households needing support as we possibly can.”

Lorraine will welcome Fife-born singer-songwriter Cammy Barnes – one of the fastest-rising forces in the UK music scene – for an exclusive performance of his single ‘Bonnie’s Song’, which was inspired by his love for his daughter. Cammy will be joined by two projects supported by the Appeal: Port Glasgow’s Riverside Youth Band and a choir from Grangemouth’s Young Portonian Theatre Company.

Cammy said: “I’m excited to perform Bonnie’s Song for the STV Children’s Appeal 2026. This song is so special to me because I wrote it with my daughter in mind, and I love that it is now part of a night that will raise lots of money for children that need support across Scotland. Performing with The Young Portonians and Riverside Youth Band is incredible. Music is a force for good, and to be joined by so many young, talented individuals is a moment I’ll never forget.”

STV Radio is also gearing up for an STV Children’s Appeal takeover, with the station’s regular Friday schedule ripped up and replaced by a day of fundraising and guest appearances from celebrity Appeal supporters.

Karen Dunbar will take over Ewen and Cat at Breakfast from 9am for a special half-hour DJ set, while fellow comedian Susie McCabe will be live with presenters Micky Gavin and Jane McCarry from 11am. There will also be appearances throughout the day from viral music sensations Kevin McGuire and Ben Walker – who both recently played a school charity concert in aid of the Appeal – while Cammy Barnes will join Webster from 5pm for the build-up to the live show on STV.

Friday’s STV Radio playlist will be centred around All-Request Appeal Day, with listeners welcomed to request a song they’d like to hear and make a donation to the STV Children’s Appeal once it gets played on air.

The Scottish Government has supported the STV Children’s Appeal since its inception by providing up to £1 million of funding annually. First Minister John Swinney will appear on the STV Children’s Appeal Show on Friday evening to recognise the vital work being carried out by projects supported by the Appeal.

Donations from the public throughout the day will be used to help children and families who need it most in Scotland.

Join Lorraine Kelly for The STV Children’s Appeal 2026 on Friday 30 October at 7pm on STV and STV Player. Listen to The STV Children’s Appeal Takeover throughout Friday on STV Radio.
