North-east employers are invited to attend a free lunch and learn event on Tuesday, 23 September to explore the funded support that’s available to help them create more inclusive, equitable and accessible workplaces.
The session has been organised by Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) North East in partnership with Enable Works, the Department for Work & Pensions and Skills Development Scotland. It is open to organisations of all sizes and across all sectors. Employers need not already be working with DYW to attend.
Aimee Maitland, Interim Director, DYW North East said: “We want employers to feel confident about offering opportunities to all young people. Our specialist partners in the region can help them to achieve this, through their funded programmes and training. We hope that industry representatives will take the time to join us over lunch to explore the assistance that’s on offer.”
The lunch and learn event will be held within the conference suite at Fly Cup Enterprises in Inverurie. More information and registration is available via the link: https://www.dyw.org.uk/events/lunch-learn-creative-diverse-inclusive-workplaces
