Pete McIntosh, Media BD Manager at Mearns & Gill, says, “We’ve put a huge focus on creating podcasts that genuinely connect with audiences, whether that’s through storytelling, insight or conversation. Coming from a radio background, creating engaging content that people want to listen to has always been hugely important to me, so it’s fantastic to see both our client work and our own productions recognised on a national stage.”
Mike Wilson, Managing Director at Mearns & Gill, adds, “We’re incredibly proud to see the work coming out of our media studio recognised alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. These nominations are a reflection of the creativity, passion and production quality the team brings to every project, and it’s fantastic to see that recognised at a national level. Podcasting continues to grow as a powerful platform for brands and organisations to connect with audiences, and we’re excited to continue building on the success of the M&G Media Studio.”
Mearns & Gill has continued to expand its media offering through the growth of the M&G media studio, producing podcasts, video content and live streams for clients across Scotland and beyond.
The three shortlisted podcasts highlight the diversity of content now being created by the Aberdeen agency, from business storytelling and current affairs discussion to documentary-style true crime productions.
The winners of the inaugural Scottish Podcast Awards will be announced at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket on Thursday 25 June 2026.
