Wright Dowson Group has made a six figure investment in CEMA standard screw conveyor components to satisfy their ever-growing list of oil and gas customers.

The company are on target for turnover to increase by 30% this financial year due to a number of significant contracts. With a proud 85 year history in the material handling industry in the UK the company are now preparing for significant expansion globally. Known for their reliability, competitive pricing and short lead times the company aim to be the largest supplier of zone 1 hazardous area screw conveyors globally.

Having commissioned a conveyor and feed system successfully last week in the GCC region, the Wrights Dowson commissioning team are going to the North Sea next week to complete another conveyor installation on an offshore platform for a global customer.

Newly appointed Business Development Director John Dudgeon stated “ key to our success over the last 6 months has been our quality products, short lead times and competitive pricing, as the offshore waste management sector is still very reactive it’s extremely important to us to have a significant stock holding here in the UK.
