Amazon Web Services (AWS) has resolved a massive outage that saw some of the world's largest websites shut down for most of the day.
The BBC reports more than 1,000 websites - including Snapchat, Duolingo and banks such as Lloyds and Halifax were impacted by problems.
Downsetector, the platform outage monitor, said reports globally soared to more than 11 million during the outage on Monday.
The root of the problem was a malfunction at Amazon Web Services, the tech giant's cloud computing division, whose infrastructure supports millions of large companies' websites and platforms.
At around 2300 BST, Amazon said all AWS services had "returned to normal operations" following the 15-hour outage.
