On behalf of Mapeley Estates Ltd, Savills has agreed a letting to Momentum Scotland at Ruby House in Aberdeen.
The not-for-profit organisation will occupy 4,785 sq ft (445 sq m) on the ground floor of the multi-tenanted, city centre office building on a new five year lease.
Ruby House, located at Ruby Place in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, provides occupiers with low cost, flexible office space which is available for a negotiable term. Whilst Momentum committed to a lease of the suite in its existing condition, the landlord is undertaking a rolling refurbishment of the remaining three suites (each c.5,000 sq ft each) and the common entrance has been recently and extensively upgraded.
Dan Smith, director in the business space team at Savills in Aberdeen, comments: “Ruby House provides cost effective office space, which offers an ideal city centre option for the budget sensitive occupier. The recent letting to Momentum is testament to the quality of Ruby House when viewed in comparison to other nearby properties within its price bracket. The office market in Aberdeen is beginning to turn a corner, and we are now starting to see interest on the remaining suites in the building”.
Momentum Scotland was advised by Whitelaw Baikie Figes. Savills is jointly instructed with Ryden.
