Just as the world prepares to put football centre stage and support their home nation in the FIFA World Cup, Masters Football has announced its return to Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Wednesday November 11 2026.

This year, four six-a-side football teams – Scotland, England, All Ireland and Wales - will compete to take home the trophy and be crowned winner of the Home Nations indoor tournament.  

Seeing Scotland come back onto the world stage has increased the appetite of football fans to follow their national team and this heightened interest is reflected on the demands of Masters Football to feature the four home nations face off in competition action. 

Masters Football, which was formed in 2000 and became a fixture on our screens where ex footballers could regroup, pull on their team colours and compete once again. Some 15 arenas have hosted the tournament over the past 13 years, with more than 1,500 ex-professional footballers playing in The Masters series since its inception.

Fans can expect an action-packed evening featuring fast-paced matches, iconic footballing rivalries and a host of legendary names from across the Home Nations. Full team line-ups will be announced in the coming months, with former international stars and fan favourites set to take part.

The tournament marks Masters Football’s long-awaited return to Aberdeen after previous sell-out events in the city and is expected to attract football fans of all ages eager to relive classic rivalries and celebrate the spirit of the beautiful game.
