MB Air Systems exhibited at Aquaculture UK, demonstrating its commitment to a growing client base in the sector.

The two-day conference and exhibition, held in Aviemore, is the sector’s largest in the UK.

A vital component of fish farm operations, compressed air is used for water aeration, controlling contamination and preventing algae blooms. Low-pressure blower systems enable cleaner, gentler, and more efficient feeding and harvesting.

Daniel Tritton, Technical Sales Engineer at MB Air Systems in Aberdeen said: "This was our second time participating at Aquaculture UK, and this is an exciting market for MB Air Systems. Scotland is world-leading in driving best practice in fish farming and incorporating technology and equipment that are enabling sustainability, welfare, and production, while tackling environmental and economic challenges.

"Our compressed air and low-pressure blower products and services are helping to facilitate this by creating efficiencies and improving safety. With fish farming worth an estimated £1.2billion for the Scottish economy and US $323billion globally - and forecast to grow significantly by the end of the decade, it is an extremely attractive market for our business.
