Name: Amanda Inglis

Company: Due North Creatives

Job title: Director

Give us the elevator pitch for your business.

Due North Creatives helps ambitious businesses grow sustainably through clear strategy, strong branding, compelling content and marketing that delivers measurable results.

Many of the organisations we work with are at a turning point. They've grown, evolved or changed significantly, but their brand, website and marketing no longer reflect the quality of what they do or where they want to go next.

We work as a strategic partner, helping businesses communicate their value more clearly, build trust with the right audiences and create lasting growth. Through branding, websites, content and storytelling, we focus on impact, not noise, helping clients win new business, attract great people, strengthen their reputation and build real momentum for the future.

Who are your customers?

We typically work with established businesses that are experiencing change.

That might be a business entering a new market, recruiting new talent, launching a new service, going through succession planning, acquisition or simply reaching a stage where they've outgrown how they've presented themselves before.

Often, they've built a strong reputation through the quality of their work and relationships, but their brand, website and marketing haven't kept pace with the business they've become.

Our clients value clear thinking, honest advice and long-term partnerships. They understand that sustainable growth isn't built through one-off campaigns, but through consistency, trust and a clear strategy that supports wider business goals.

What excites us most is working with leadership teams that are open-minded, ambitious and determined to make a positive difference with their business.

What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?

One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the last 10 years is that growth changes everything.

The approach that worked when Due North was a smaller business isn’t going to be right for where we're heading next. Like many growing organisations, we're focused on becoming more intentional, creating the right structure, developing great people and building a business that can continue to grow without losing what makes it special.

The opportunity is that we're seeing many of our clients face similar challenges. As businesses evolve, they often need to rethink how they operate, communicate and position themselves for the future. Supporting them through that journey is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?

Be clear about what you're trying to achieve and why it matters. #yourduenorth

It's easy to get caught up in opportunities, trends and day-to-day demands, but businesses tend to make better decisions when they have a clear sense of purpose and direction. When you know where you're heading, it's much easier to decide what deserves your time, energy and investment.

What is the best thing about being a Chamber member?

The opportunity to learn from businesses that are further along the journey.

As Due North continues to grow its presence across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, we've found real value in hearing the experiences, challenges and lessons learned from other business leaders. The Chamber provides a fantastic platform to build visibility, broaden your perspective and gain insights that help you make smarter decisions within your own business.
