Pipetech provides specialist flow remediation services on energy processing systems with technologies covering topside, subsea and downhole applications.
We remove all manner of internal foulants from soft waxes to the very hardest of scale deposits which have a huge impact on processing efficiency. We specialise in complex pipework/pipeline systems ensuring full flow path efficiency, helping energy producers ensure their production systems are operating effectively.
We have bases in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Stavanger, Norway and Norwich, East Anglia.
Who are your customers?
Our customers are some of the world’s largest multinational energy operators predominately within the oil and gas sector, from upstream producers to the downstream refinery operators.
What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?
The geopolitical uncertainty around the oil and gas industry in the UK at the moment means projects and non-critical maintenance activities are either cancelled or deferred. The biggest opportunity we have at Pipetech right now is in the development of our new wellbore scale remediation technology, scale build up in the wellbore is a global challenge effecting energy production systems.
What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?
Embrace the opportunities that the chamber provide in terms of networking, business breakfast insights etc. These platforms are invaluable for building relationships and connecting with industry in the Nort East.
What is the best thing about being a Chamber member?
The Chamber opens up opportunities to connect with industry and build relationships. They also provide invaluable business events which give excellent insights that otherwise we might not get as a small organisation. Dedicated account managers are always on hand for any support required.
