I founded Accountax to provide fractional Finance Director and interim finance support to SMEs and owner-led businesses across the North-east. I help business owners gain financial clarity, strengthen their finance processes and make confident, insight-driven decisions to support sustainable growth.
Who are your customers?
My focus is SMEs and owner-managed businesses that need experienced financial leadership but aren’t ready for a full-time Finance Director. I work with founders and leadership teams who want clearer financial insight to help guide their decisions and growth.
What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?
As a startup, my main challenge is building awareness and establishing relationships with businesses that can benefit from fractional finance support. The opportunity lies in helping more SMEs access experienced financial leadership without the cost or ties of full-time employment.
What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?
Starting something new can feel daunting, but stepping outside your comfort zone is often where the biggest learning and growth happens. Trust the process, take the leap and be open to the opportunities that follow.
What is the best thing about being a Chamber member?
For me, being part of the Chamber provides valuable opportunities to connect with the local business community, build relationships and raise awareness of what I do.
