Give us the elevator pitch for your business
First Aid at Work delivers accredited first aid and mental health training that people genuinely enjoy and remember. My focus is helping people feel confident, not overwhelmed, when faced with real-life situations. Training is practical, supportive and relevant, so learners leave feeling prepared to help others when it matters most.
Who are your customers?
I work with businesses of all sizes across a wide range of sectors including hospitality, construction, education, professional services, sports clubs and community organisations. I also support childcare providers, charities and individuals who need accredited First Aid or Mental Health training for workplace requirements or personal development.
What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?
Many people still see First Aid training as an optional extra, rather than a workplace requirement. The opportunity is helping businesses understand how important it is to have confident, trained people who can respond in emergencies. It’s about creating safer workplaces and giving people the confidence to act when needed.
What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?
Be yourself, not who you think others want you to be. Genuine, approachable people build stronger relationships. Take time to listen, support others and build trust. Authentic connections often lead to opportunities that feel natural rather than forced.
What is the best thing about being a Chamber member?
Being part of a welcoming community where people genuinely support each other. It’s a great way to meet others who understand the challenges of running a business, share experiences and build relationships. The Chamber creates opportunities to connect with people you might not otherwise meet.
