This week marks a major milestone — the halfway point of my Miles of Smiles challenge!

To celebrate, Marius Coste, Group Manager at Elior UK ran through the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, dressed as a rainbow unicorn, a symbol of courage, resilience, and hope. The rainbow reminds us that after every storm, light returns.

This week also coincides with Neurodiversity Week, highlighting mental resilience, brain health, and the power of community support. Every step in rainbow colors is a reminder that hope, kindness, and connection strengthen both our hearts and our minds.

This run is dedicated to everyone across Scotland facing mental health challenges and cancer, supporting:

  • SAMH – Scottish Association for Mental Health
  • Clan Cancer Support

Campaign Highlights So Far:

  • 2,595 km completed
  • £2,982 raised
  • 202 cold showers
  • 45 cold dips

Every mile, every smile, and every small act of kindness matters. Scotland’s communities inspire me every day — together, we lift each other up.

Thank you to everyone supporting this journey — your generosity, encouragement, and belief make every rainbow step possible.
