Mintra Group, a leading provider of workforce management systems for safety critical industries worldwide, has today (April 6, 2020) announced that it will offer five of its e-learning courses free of charge, to help companies and their employees stay safe amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Working together with its learning partners, Mintra Group identified courses that it believes will help both businesses and individuals adapt to the recent unprecedented global changes. The chosen courses cover five topics such as how to stop the spread of the virus and how to prepare households for quarantine. Mintra Group is also offering its own Display Screen Equipment and Ergonomics course that was provided to its internal staff, as guidance for other employees to help them safely set up working from home stations.

The courses being offered free of charge are:

  • Display Screen Equipment and Ergonomics
  • Pandemic and Influenza (COVID-19)
  • Infection Control – Handwashing for Healthcare
  • COVID-19 – What you need to know
  • COVID-19 – Preparing your household

Scott Kerr, Mintra Group chief executive said “by monitoring the market and working closely with our training partners, we are delighted to be able to offer these informative resources free of charge, not just to our own customers, but to anyone who needs help during this difficult time.

“There is a lot of pressure on companies to keep employees safe while working from home so that operations can continue as normal during this unprecedented outbreak. These courses will help people who are new to working at home, create the same, healthy working environment that they expect to have in the office. Our new COVID-19 and infection control courses will help workers keep themselves and their families up to date on how they can best protect themselves against the virus.”

Courses can be accessed via Mintra Group’s learning management platform Trainingportal via the website and registering as a new user. The courses can be accessed across all devices, including mobile.
