MISS (Miscarriage Information Support Service) celebrate their third anniversary this month! Since forming in March 2017 as a support service for women and men who have suffered a miscarriage, MISS have grown rapidly, including achieving a registered charity status a year ago.
To mark the special milestone, MISS held a fundraising bingo afternoon at The Ashvale restaurant on Great Western Road in Aberdeen. Everyone enjoyed the tasty fish suppers The Ashvale is famous for, as well as a great game of bingo. The raffle prizes included tickets for Aberdeen Football Club and a voucher for Bonding with Baby. Local business stallholders included 1323 Jewellery, Butterfly Bags and Josie Fudge.
Abi Clarke, Founder and Chairperson of MISS said, ‘I would like to thank all the guests who helped us celebrate our third anniversary, as well as our volunteers for all their work both on the lead up and on the day itself. We raised a total of £717 which will go towards providing early pregnancy loss memory boxes at local hospitals.’
