The Miscarriage Information Support Service is delighted to announce that the virtual auction held on July 29 through to August 1 2021 raised £1,082.30.
The auction was held on Facebook, where supporters could bid in the comments of each prize advertisement post.
MISS received 38 auction prizes from local businesses, from a voucher for E. Giulianotti’s sweet shop in Stonehaven to signed Michael Buble memorabilia. There was something for everyone, as other donors included Costa, Loubelle Beauty, Jazzercise and Newmachar Golf Club.
The Miscarriage Information Support Service would like to thank all auction prize donors and supporters who took part in the auction.
The money raised from this event allows MISS to keep supporting bereaved parents by providing memory boxes to Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and holding its support groups and sessions.
As MISS recently expanded their support to the Highlands, it can also begin providing memory boxes to the Raigmore Maternity Unit in Inverness too.
