Here are the business stories making the headlines across Scotland and the UK this morning.

British Airways pulls Louis Theroux deal after Bob Vylan podcast

British Airways has paused its sponsorship of Louis Theroux’s podcast after he interviewed the frontman of the punk duo Bob Vylan.

On the podcast, Bobby Vylan, whose real name is Pascal Robinson-Foster, said he did not regret leading chants of “death, death to the IDF [Israel Defence Forces]” during a performance at Glastonbury this summer, and that he would “do it again tomorrow”.

British Airways said that the podcast’s content breached its sponsorship policy. A spokesman said: “Our sponsorship of the series has now been paused and the advert has been removed".

Michelle Mone buys £10m flat on Florida’s ‘billionaire island’

Baroness Mone and her husband Doug Barrowman have bought a £10million home on America’s “billionaire island”, where their neighbours will include Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Hollywood’s Julia Roberts and Mel Brooks.

The former underwear entrepreneur and her millionaire partner invested in the property only three months before a company owned by a consortium led by Barrowman had come under pressure to repay millions of pounds to the taxpayer over a PPE scandal.

The couple bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom apartment on Fisher Island, an ultra-exclusive community near Miami, in July, according to the Mail on Sunday.

BBC Scotland’s Kaye Adams accused of ‘pro-Labour bias’

Kaye Adams was repeatedly warned over the need to maintain political impartiality and told to tone down her “pro-Labour bias” while working for BBC Radio Scotland, former colleagues have claimed.

The 62-year-old broadcaster, who also presents Loose Women on ITV, has been suspended from her morning radio show amid allegations she bullied co-workers.

According to reports, Adams is facing claims that she “shouted and screamed” at junior members of staff but she denies any wrongdoing.
