More than 1,800 energy projects are proposed or under development across the UK and Ireland, representing potential capital expenditure of more than $1tn if they all proceed, according to EICDataStream, the Energy Industries Council’s global project database.
Against this backdrop, project developers, operators, contractors and supply chain companies will convene at EIC Connect UK & Ireland Energy 2026 to discuss energy projects and the opportunities and challenges surrounding them. The event will be held at Hotel Football in Manchester on 17–18 November.
Delegates will also participate in pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings, which give supply chain companies direct access to organisations developing and delivering energy projects.
Sessions will cover project opportunities and supply chain requirements across oil and gas, renewables, hydrogen, carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and wider energy infrastructure. A later session with energy operators and developers will examine opportunities across areas including offshore wind, hydrogen, CCUS, grid infrastructure and oil and gas before the conference closes with one-to-one meetings.

EIC Connect is all about putting this kind of information in the same room as the companies developing and delivering those projects, and giving supplier chain businesses the chance to speak to them directly."
