Motive Offshore Group (Motive) has officially received approval from Trakhees, the regulatory arm of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation - Dubai Ports Authority (PCFC-DPA).

The Trakhees (PCFC-DPA) approval authorises Motive to provide comprehensive Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services across Dubai’s Special Development Zones.

The approval covers all PFCA-DPA-controlled areas, including Jebel Ali Port, Dubai Maritime City, Dry Docks, and Offshore Support Bases.

Marking a new chapter in company’s commitment to the UAE energy industry, the Trakhees approval signals a key step forward for its Middle East growth, facilitating direct strategic partnerships with vessel operators and EPCI contractors. Broadening its service offering capabilities, Motive is uniquely positioned to provide end-to-end support for major port-based projects across the region.

Motive provides a unified pathway for clients, from project planning and spooling operations to testing and certification, ensuring total efficiency through a single point of accountability.

This end-to-end approach helps minimise logistics and accelerate inspection lead times, allowing vessel operators to hit critical project deadlines while maintaining the highest regulatory standards.

Graeme Chalmers, Eastern Hemisphere Regional Director at Motive Offshore Group, said: "Trakhees approval cements Motive’s position as a comprehensive, end-to-end partner in the UAE. The authorisation to operate across key locations expands our reach and presence, enabling us to deliver inspection services with the rapid turnaround times that vessel operators need to meet demanding mobilisation windows without compromising on compliance."
