Munro's Travel has become one of the first travel management companies in the UK to achieve the new Business Travel Association (BTA) Accreditation.
Launched this week, the BTA Accreditation scheme provides an independent benchmark for travel management companies and assesses organisations across key areas including financial resilience, professional indemnity cover, data protection compliance, staff training and development, business continuity planning and client satisfaction.
For organisations operating across the energy, marine and offshore sectors, where reliability, compliance and operational continuity are critical, the accreditation provides independent assurance that Munro's Travel meets the highest professional standards across service delivery, governance and business resilience.
Cheryl Henderson, Head of Business Travel, said: "We are very proud for Munro's Travel to be among the first travel management companies in the UK to achieve BTA Accreditation. Achieving this accreditation is a proud moment and a strong endorsement of the professional standards we work to every day. For our clients, it provides reassurance that they are partnering with a travel management company that has been independently assessed across key areas including financial resilience, compliance, service quality, staff development, and business continuity. Most importantly, it reflects the expertise and dedication of our team, who continue to deliver specialist energy and marine travel support from Aberdeen to clients around the world."
The accreditation reflects Munro's Travel's longstanding commitment to quality, compliance and specialist service. The company is a member of the BTA and Managing Director Murray Burnett serves on the BTA Board, reinforcing Munro's active role in supporting professional standards and best practice across the business travel sector.
