Munro's Travel, the specialist travel management company serving the marine, offshore and energy sectors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Cheryl Henderson to the role of Operations Director.
The appointment recognises Cheryl's 21 years of dedication, industry expertise and leadership at Munro's, while reflecting the company's continued investment in its senior leadership team as it strengthens its offering for organisations operating across the marine, offshore and energy sectors.
A Career Built on Industry Knowledge
Cheryl joined Munro's in 2005 as a Business Travel Consultant and has progressed through a range of operational, commercial and leadership roles, including Sales, Account Management and Head of Business Travel. Her experience across the business has given her a deep understanding of the complex travel requirements of clients operating in these sectors.
Role and Responsibilities
In her new role, Cheryl takes on broader strategic responsibility across the organisation. She will lead Munro's Business Travel operational team, strengthen the Account Management function and work closely with the Technology and Development teams as Munro's continues to invest in smarter, more efficient ways to support its clients.
Her focus will be on enhancing operational excellence, developing people and ensuring clients continue to receive the specialist, responsive service Munro's Travel is known for.
Cheryl is also a passionate advocate for attracting new talent into the travel sector and building a culture where people can genuinely develop and thrive, values that will be central to her leadership in this next chapter.
