Leading North-east travel management company Munro’s Travel has secured a new crew travel contract with specialist crew management, HR and recruitment provider Accord Business Partnerships.

The contract, which went live in February, is valued at approximately £720,000 per year and will see Munro’s Travel manage all crew travel requirements across Accord’s extensive marine client portfolio. Munro’s was selected for its sector expertise, responsiveness, and proven ability to support complex, fast‑moving marine operations.

With expertise across offshore, subsea, and marine operations, Accord Business Partnerships is trusted for delivering flexible, people‑focused, end‑to‑end crew management, recruitment, payroll/employment, UK visa support and HR solutions that keep vessels and projects running safely, compliantly, and efficiently. Accord required a travel partner capable of matching the pace, precision, and reliability demanded by marine and subsea logistics.

Marine crew travel is uniquely demanding, with last‑minute changes, global vessel movements, and operational disruption requiring a highly reactive and reliable service. Munro’s will provide a dedicated team, 24/7 Out‑of‑Hours support, and specialist marine fare expertise to ensure every crew movement is handled safely and efficiently.

“We’ve been really impressed with the service from Munro’s Travel so far. Crew travel can be complex, fast-moving and often subject to last-minute changes, so it’s important for us to work with a travel partner who understands the pace and pressure of offshore operations.

The team at Munro’s have been friendly, attentive and incredibly responsive from the outset. They have taken the time to understand our requirements, reacted quickly to some fairly complex requests, and made the process feel smooth and well managed for both our team and our crew.

Suzanne Wallace, HR & Operations Director, Accord Business Partnerships, said: "For Accord, service quality and reliability are everything, and Munro’s have already shown that they can support the standards our clients expect from us. We’re really pleased to be working with them and look forward to building the partnership further.”

This contract marks the first time Munro’s has provided services to Accord Business Partnerships. The agreement strengthens Munro’s position as a trusted travel partner to the energy and marine sectors, building on more than 50 years of specialist experience and a long‑standing commitment to delivering tailored, end‑to‑end travel management solutions.

Murray Burnett, Managing Director, Munro’s Travel, said: “We’re delighted to begin this partnership with Accord Business Partnerships. Crew travel demands speed, accuracy, and specialist knowledge, and our team is fully equipped to deliver the reliability and responsiveness their operations require. We look forward to working closely with them to deliver a high-quality and cost-effective travel management service.
