Aberdeen legend Willie Miller will take centre stage at the city’s historic Music Hall this May to talk with sports pundit Graham Spiers about his stellar career, his love of the Granite City, and the state of the Scottish game.

The event will take place on the eve of the 36th anniversary of the Dons European Cup Winner’s Cup triumph, in which Miller lifted the cup at Gothenburg on May 11, 1983.

Former Aberdeen captain, and manager, Miller won 65 Scotland caps, along with three championship medals, four Scottish Cups, three Scottish League cups. He was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2004.

Voted the greatest ever Aberdeen player in 2003, Miller has carved a career as a football
commentator and analyst, providing incisive opinions and insight as a BBC pundit.

Aberdeen Performing Arts cultural programme manager Steven Milne said: “With Willie Miller being regarded so fondly by Dons fans and being recognised as the greatest Captain the club has ever had, we are sure this will be a hugely popular event.”
