Aberdeen-based exterior and specialist cleaning company NEREC Ltd has successfully completed its first project in Ireland, marking another step in the company’s continued growth and expansion.

The opportunity came following a recent project in Westhill, where NEREC was contracted to pressure wash a commercial roof ahead of planned maintenance works. The client, based in England, was impressed with both the quality of work delivered and the company’s professional approach, particularly its self-sufficient pressure washing setup.

As a result, the client made the decision to extend the relationship beyond Scotland, appointing NEREC to support works across its wider portfolio leading directly to the company’s first project in Ireland.

The Irish project involved pressure washing a commercial roof in Dublin, again ahead of scheduled maintenance. As with all projects, NEREC transported its own specialist equipment to site, including its trailer-mounted pressure washing system, ensuring consistency in quality and delivery regardless of location.

This ability to mobilise teams and equipment efficiently allows NEREC to operate across the UK and beyond, supporting clients wherever required without compromising on standards.

Despite having a team operating overseas with two members of staff, a van, and a full pressure washing trailer deployed in Ireland the business continued to deliver across its existing workload. During the same period, multiple projects were completed across Scotland, ranging from domestic services to large-scale commercial works.

This reflects the company’s operational capacity, planning, and commitment to maintaining service levels even during periods of growth.

NEREC’s continued investment in equipment and processes has played a key role in enabling this expansion. Its bespoke pressure washing systems, capable of operating independently of site utilities, allow the team to deliver specialist cleaning services in a wide range of environments from local properties to remote or logistically challenging locations.

Ross Skene, Business Development and Marketing Manager at NEREC Ltd, said: “This was a great opportunity for us to show what we can do outside of our usual area. The client had already seen the standard of our work in Scotland, and being trusted to deliver the same level of service in Ireland is a strong reflection of the team and how we operate. It also highlights the flexibility we’ve built into the business  we can take our equipment, our processes, and our standards anywhere, and still deliver.”

The successful delivery of this project highlights both the strength of NEREC’s service offering and the trust being placed in the business by clients operating on a national and international scale.

As the company continues to grow, its focus remains on delivering high-quality, reliable cleaning solutions while expanding its reach and supporting clients across multiple locations.
