Blackburn-based exterior cleaning specialist, NEREC Ltd, has announced the creation of three new positions following a string of contract wins across Aberdeen and the wider Scottish region.
The growing company, which launched in late 2023, has quickly established a strong reputation for delivering high-standard exterior cleaning and property maintenance services to both public and private sector clients.
Recent contract awards in the oil and gas, construction, and local authority sectors have driven a need to expand the team.
Managing director Andrew Bruce said: “We’ve experienced rapid and sustained growth this year, and that’s a credit to the team’s hard work, the quality of service we deliver, and the strong relationships we’ve built with clients across the region. Bringing in new team members will help us meet demand and continue to grow sustainably.”
The three new roles highlight the increasing demand for high-quality specialist cleaning services in both commercial and industrial environments. From multi-site drainage maintenance to high-level steam cleaning, NEREC’s services are now relied upon by a growing list of repeat clients.
The company has also invested in new equipment and processes to improve efficiency and ensure safe delivery across a wide range of environments - including confined spaces and high-access jobs.
Alongside commercial success, NEREC continues to support local employment and skills development. The business is an active supporter of Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) and recently welcomed an apprentice to the team.
“We’re proud to be growing, but equally proud to be doing it in a way that creates opportunities for others,” Bruce added.
